Christian principles motivate our attitude toward residents and although the home was established by Haven Green Baptist Church it is administered by an independent voluntary committee. Applications are considered from whatever creed or ethnic origin.
Situated in a quiet residential area of Ealing, the home has access to green open spaces, and public parks, local shops and public library.
Privacy and individuality are respected at Green Haven and residents may, if they wish, furnish their rooms with personal items of furniture and effects. All rooms except one are for single occupation and have wash-hand basins and an inter-communicating alarm system. All residents can have their own front door key and come and go as they wish. Visitors are always welcome and may stay for meals.
An established landscaped garden provides a restful backdrop to the communal lounge and dining room. There is a veranda from which residents can enjoy the colourful herbaceous borders and shrubbery or take a stroll around the smooth contoured paths or rest on one of the gardens seats to enjoy this truly ‘Green Haven’.
Residents are encouraged to be independent and make individual outings, although support is always at hand and organised excursions often made.
